While driving to Lake Cachuma from Redlands, CA, we blew a spark plug. We were referred to Ken Symer Automotive. We have had this problem in the past and usually have to leave our car for the repair. Ken and his mechanic told us to come right in and that it would take 1 hour to fix! We had our two dogs with us but that was no problem, they played with Ken's Great Dane and Black Lab. The price was reasonable and off we went to continue our vacation. Thank you!!! We totally recommend this place.

I only have positive things to say about Ken Symer Automotive. Ken's honest, knowledgeable and genuinely just a nice guy. Ken will let you now if a service is necessary to do right away or if it can wait. How many other mechanics would do that? I'd recommend Ken to anyone and everyone.

Ken has been my mechanic for what seems likes eons (approximately 20 years more or less). I take my car in twice a year for the needed service and that's about it. If he finds something he'll tell me whether it requires immediate fixing or if it's something that can wait. My last car was a dud and when I'd inquire about repairs, he'd tell me the cost of the fix but he would also tell me that I should think about getting a new car. A dishonest person would be happy to take my money, but an honest person like Ken wasn't interested in repairs that weren't going to benefit me in the long run. When I finally did get that new car he was so happy for me. And then there are the greeters, always good to see the dogs whenever I drop off my car.
